'Fish Pirate's Daughter'

Tickets are now available for Ketchikan's own melodrama held at the Ted Ferry Civic Center this year, including an all-you-can-eat crab feed and a no-host bar. Shows are July 27-28 with doors opening at 7 p.m., dinner beginning at 7:30 p.m. and the play starting at 8 p.m. Call First City Players to make reservations at 247-4792.

Concerts in the Park

Blueberry Arts Festival Battle of the Bands

Registration deadline is at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 25. Bands, solo performers, and other wishing to perform in the 2007 Blueberry Arts Festival Battle of the Bands must submit an application by this day.

7th Annual Quilt Camp

Rain Country Quilters are hosting the 7th Annual Quilt Camp August 1st-5th in Petersburg. Feature teacher this year is Eleanor Burns from Quilt In A Day fame. Spend 5 days in the company of quilters, learning and sharing together. Classes include Tea Cup Wall Hanging, Thread Bag Project and Evening Mystery: "Be there or be square!" On Sunday, August 5, a Show & Tell and drawing for quilt event will take place at 5 p.m. All classes will be at the Lutheran Church Holy Cross House at the corner of 5th and Fram (upstairs and downstairs) and include lunch.
