In his new position, John will work with commercial loan applicants to evaluate loan requests in compliance with the bank's policies and procedures, underwrite credit, and produce commercial loan proposals for the bank.
"We are pleased to have John join Alaska Pacific Bank's commercial lending team," said Dahl. "It is great to see a former Juneau Douglas High School student come back to Juneau and work, live, and serve in our community."
John has over four years of banking experience, most recently with EvergreenBank in Seattle, WA. At EvergreenBank, John was responsible for generating and servicing commercial lending business in the downtown Seattle area. He also completed a three-year management internship program at EvergreenBank that focused on management and commercial lending.

John was very active in youth sports in Washington, as a high school basketball coach for Lake Washington High School for the past three years. He plans on getting back into coaching basketball in the Juneau area this fall.
