City Museum's Summer Program begins Aug. 4
Youth ages 8 to 11 are invited to join the Juneau-Douglas City Museum for a week of fun and exploration Aug. 4-8. The Juneau Explorers Week program combines indoor and outdoor activities to expose youth to Juneau's local history, art and culture. This year's activities include gold panning, nature hikes, a trip up the Mt. Roberts Tramway and various crafts including wind chimes made out of utensils.

The program runs Monday thru Friday 12:30-4:30 pm. The cost is $25/ day or $125 for the whole week. All materials and fees are included. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required.
