University announces Alaska degree candidates
EUGENE, Ore. - A total of 4,363 students who have completed work toward a degree during the 2005-06 academic year were eligible to participate in the spring ceremonies, which were held at 12:30 p.m., on June 17 at McArthur Court.

Graduates from Southeast Alaska are John Carter, doctor of philosophy, mathematics; Dylan Jon Rhea-Fournier, bachelor of science, biology; and Sherri Y. Zhang, doctor of jurisprudence, law, all from Juneau; Katharine Jean Hopkins, bachelor of arts, international studies of Ketchikan; Sasha Julia Forsyth, bachelor of science, journalism: public relations; Tamara Kathleen Skordahl, certificate, initial administrator; and Tamara Kathleen Skordahl, master of education, educational leadership of Sitka; Katherine Anne Reed, bachelor of arts, psychology and Spanish of Wrangell.
