The glacial flood caused by a release of water from Mendenhall Glacier has receded.
According to the National Weather Service, Mendenhall Lake reached a record depth of 11.81 feet about 3 p.m. July 11.
Mendenhall River topped out at 13.52 feet, just below the record of 13.8 feet.
No severe damage was reported, though flooding temporarily blocked some roads.
