Southeast Composite Squadron holds barbecue
Warmer, brighter, longer days and the Kings run fast and furious in the cold Southeast Alaska waters.

There's nothing like the feeling of a fighting King Salmon on the line, except maybe the family-style barbecue that follows a great day of fishing.

Such a day was held Saturday, June 30, in Juneau for Civil Air Patrol seniors, cadets, visitors and friends.

Thanks goes to Lt. Andrea Chay for coordinating, Capt. Martha DeFreest and Major Jeff DeFreest for supplying King Salmon, Lt Phillip Damerval for tending the bar-b-que whilst the fish were finished to perfection, and to all members for their potluck contributions and fellowship.

The event was well attended with special guests from the Reno Composite Squadron, Lt. Tom Pagnano and Julie Gallio.
