'Joy Ride'

Throughout the month, the Mainstay Gallery will be hosting Joy Ride, an exhibit of young Northwest Coast Native artists who seek to unite tradition with the contemporary world. The participating artists in the show are Stephen Jackson (Tlingit), Donny Varnell (Haida), Sheldon Skillie (Haida/Lakota), and Fred Trout (Tlingit).

'Fishing Season'

The new art exhibit at the Ketchikan Presbyterian Church features "Fishing Season," art featuring fishing boats. Open hours at the exhibit are Sundays at the church, 2711 Second Avenue, or by calling 225-3619 for an appointment during the week.
