Educational tram ride

Brownie Girl Scouts Laurel Stevenson, Alyssa Nelson, Avery Rowcroft, Alanna Masony, Meghan Conken, and Janae Reese.
Girl Scout Brownie Troop 26 took the Mt Roberts Tramway up to the top station a few weeks ago. At the top they learned about the Juneau Raptor Center from Spirit the eagle, viewed a nature slideshow, and took a nature hike where they met a grouse family and their new mascot, Brownie the marmot. They especially enjoyed watching the movie Seeing Daylight, listening to live music by a delightful family of folk musicians and topped it all off by listening to a Tlingit man who beat his deerskin & cedar drum and sang a traditional Tlingit song on the way down. Gunalchéesh to everyone at the Mt Roberts Tramway who made our visit a spectacular experience!
