Two ad representatives on staff
Two recent advertising representatives now are part of the team at the Capital City Weekly.

  Tessa Cox
Tessa Cox joined the staff in February. Born and raised in Oregon, she has lived in Juneau for 10 years and is a graduate of Juneau Douglas High School. Cox has a 4-year-old daughter named Auna.

  Amy Bennett
Amy Bennett started at the weekly newspaper in June. She enjoys scuba diving, skydiving and snowboarding, as well as painting, reading and wine tasting.

"I'm somewhat of a thrill seeker," she said. "I love rare and used bookstores."

Her husband Kenny is a corporate manager at Tesoros.

They have a 7-month-old son, Isaac, who enjoys playing with his dog Oscar and loves to eat.

Amy has lived in Juneau for a year and her experience in sales comes from being a director of a medical spa for four years.

She is a graduate of Foothill High School in Pleasanton, Calif. and of Baylor University in Waco, Texas where she studied speech communication. She is a member of Habitat for Humanity.
