Back by popular demand for the seventh year, the Anchorage band Bearfoot performed at Centennial Hall Friday night for a one night only show.

The Anchorage group Bearfoot consists of, from left, fiddlers Angela Oudean Annalisa Tornfelt; Jason Norris, mandolin; Kate Hamre, acoustic bass; and Mike Mickelson playing guitar. The group performed at Centennial Hall on June 27. |

A mere two years after their initial meeting as camp counselors, Bearfoot earned one of roots music's most prestigious awards - Telluride Bluegrass Band Champions - an honor they share with artists like Dixie Chicks and Nickel Creek.
Boasting five distinctive lead voices, the group showcased a diverse breadth of rich, original songs.
