Tuesday, July 4
8 a.m. - 10 p.m. - Booths open on Tongass Dock
10:30 a.m. - Kids parade lineup on the Federal Bldg parking lot.
11 a.m. - Kids parade to the tunnel begins; Parents should pickup their children at the Lions Club Booth
11 a.m. - Main parade line up begins
Noon - Main parade begins at Jefferson Street stoplight
5 p.m. - Ketchikan Timber Carnival at Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show Arena; free admission
5 p.m. - Rubber Ducky Race at Ketchikan Creek
11 p.m. - Fireworks, barge at north end of Pennock Island
Wednesday, July 5
Noon - Community Luncheon at Sunny Point Conference Center with visiting friends and family members of fallen pilot Maj. Stephen "Butch" Freeman who lost his life in a plane crash behind A&P Market last January. The event is open to the public and costs $15 at the door. Live entertainment will be provided by Paddy's Leather Breeches, The Amish Robots & the Cape Fox Dancers.
