Locals honored for service as federal employees
Juneau Federal Executive Association
The Juneau Federal Executive Association sponsored the 2007 Federal Employee of the Year Awards Luncheon on June 15, at the Prospector Hotel.

This is an opportunity for head federal agencies to nominate Juneau area federal employees and recognize their hard work that supports the state and local community.

  Among those at the luncheon were, from left, LT Mary Ann Swendsen, JFEA secretary-treasurer; Jeff Passer, JFEA vice president; Paul Webb, Coast Guard search and rescue specialist, 2007 JFEA Federal Employee of the Year Award; Jay Ginter, National Marine Fisheries Service supervisory fishery biologist, 2007 JFEA Outstanding Volunteer Service Award; and Tom Ainsworth, JFEA president. Rebecca Campbell (not shown), National Marine Fisheries Service administrative assistant was given the 2007 JFEA Outstanding Administrative Support Award.
Dr. John Pugh, University of Alaska Southeast chancellor, and Rod Swope, City and Borough of Juneau city manager participated as judges to select the finalists.

Awards went to Paul Webb, Jay Ginter and Rebecca Campbell.
