Plan to join fellow creators for the 2013 Sitka Artisans Market Dec. 6, 7, and 8.
The annual juried Sitka Artisans Market is a community-enhancing retail fair now professionally managed by the Greater Sitka Arts Council. The event will fill much of Sitka's Harrigan Centennial Hall and will run for three days from Friday, Dec. 6, through Sunday, Dec. 8 and is expected to draw more than 2,000 shoppers.
The annual Sitka Artisans market provides an opportunity for Alaskan fine artists and artisans to showcase original, distinctive, carefully crafted wares to the public before the holidays. The Artisans Market provides a unique sales venue for fine artists and artisans and one-of-a-kind retail experience for Sitkans and visitors from outlying communities. The Market is also an opportunity for Sitka merchants to discover new products for their stores.
The application deadline for juried booth space is due August 28, 2013. Space rental fees range from $105 to $300 per booth.
