Gavel to Gavel covers gasline road shows
Gavel to Gavel Alaska is planning coverage of the Legislature's Fairbanks and Anchorage committee hearings on AGIA, starting June 17. Three days of hearings from Fairbanks will be recorded and will air on a delayed basis, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, June 17-19, starting at 10:00 am. The five days of Anchorage hearings will air Monday through Friday, June 23 - 27, starting each day at 10 a.m. Gavel to Gavel Alaska has been providing daily coverage of the Legislature's special session from Juneau, and the broadcasts will continue when the Legislature returns to Juneau after the 4th of July.

Coverage of the special session is sponsored by a major grant from the City and Borough of Juneau. Additional sponsors include ACS, the Association of Alaska School Boards, the Alaska Conference of Mayors, the Alaska Cruise Association, the Alaska State Chamber of Commerce, AT&T, BP, ConocoPhillips, GCI, Hays Research group, IBEW Local 1547, the Juneau Chamber of Commerce and The Alaska Committee.

Gavel to Gavel Alaska airs statewide on cable television, as well as on Dish Network and DirecTV. The service is also broadcast over-the-air in Anchorage on KAKM-DT channel 7.3, and in Juneau on KTOO-DT channel 10.2. All of the coverage is streamed live on the Internet at
