Instruments Needed For Bluegrass Camp
JUNEAU - Do you have a fiddle, guitar, banjo, bass, or mandolin gathering dust in the closet? Juneau Arts & Humanities Council is looking for instruments for children to use for the Bluegrass Camp for Kids June 23-26.

Members of Bearfoot Bluegrass, the award-winning Anchorage-based band, will be teaching and conducting the camp, which welcomes 5-17 year old kids. Bearfoot has taught thousands of kids worldwide. In addition to teaching music camps, two of the band members are certified elementary education teachers.

If you can live without your instrument June 23-26, please drop it by the JAHC office at Juneau Arts & Culture Center (the former Armory) on 350 Whittier St. downtown, and give a kid a chance to try an instrument this summer.
