ANGOON - Native and non-Native elders, age 60 and older, are invited to enjoy hot, delicious lunches at noon, Monday through Friday, at the Aangoon Shu' Senior Center. The Angoon Senior Center is located at 800 Kootz Road. Elders coming for the first time may want to call Pauline, the Senior Center Manager, at 788-3804, so she can be ready to welcome them and introduce them to the program. Each meal is made up of the main dish, a salad, a hot vegetable, bread, rice or noodles, milk and a dessert. Meal participants are encouraged to make a donation toward the cost of the meal. The suggested donation amount is $3 per meal although any donation amount is appreciated and very much needed.
