Forest Service fees stay the same
Visitors to Alaska's National Forests will see no changes in recreation fees as a result of the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act, which became law last December.

The National Forest sites in Alaska where fees are collected are 197 public recreation cabins, many developed campgrounds, the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center, the Southeast Alaska Discovery Center, Pack Creek Bear Viewing Area, the Anan Wildlife Observatory, and for viewing the movie at the Begich, Boggs Visitor Center. No additional fee sites will be added this year.
