Treadwell summer camps for youth ages 6-12, these are weeklong half days (8am-noon) camps, complete list of camps and dates available on website at www.juneau.org/parksrec/icerink, 586-0410

Fine Arts Camp, June 6-July 1, Juneau-Douglas High School, includes camp for grades 3-8, 463-LEAP or go to www.juneaudance.com.

Summer Dance Academy, June 6-30, 586-1462 to register

Summer Reading Program, June 6-July 30, Juneau Public Libraries, weekly drawings, reading games, storytime, and crafts.

Volleyball Camps: Passing, setting, and hitting; drills and scrimmages. Dzantiki' Heeni gym. Middle school camp 1-4:30pm each day. High school camp 8:30-11:30am and 1-4pm each day. Free. 463-1700 ext 297 to register.

Flag Football Camps: Conditioning, drills, techniques, and strategies for all positions. No tackling; some light contact. Adair Kennedy 12:30-2:30pm. Free. June 27- 30 (ages 12-14); July 11-14 (ages 9-11). 463-1700 ext 297 to register.

Friday Hikes: All ages welcome to join. Weekly hikes through Aug. 5. Hikes will range in difficulty and length of time. Meet at the designated trail head at 1:00pm. Bring emergency contact information on day of hike. For hike schedule call 463-1700 ext. 297.

Juneau Outdoor Adventure Camp: Three=day overnight camp for ages 14-18 at the Eagle River Scout Camp June 30th-July 2nd. Activities will include canoeing, hiking, storytelling, fishing, archery and much more. $10 covers food, lodging, activities and transportation. Registration forms at the Boys and Girls Club or Zach Gordon Youth Center or 463-7190.
