The Juneau Audubon Society chapter has decided to extend the Saturday bird walks to offer the chance to participate in a nature-related outing every Saturday throughout the year. Called Saturday Wild, the weekly programs will include outings offered by other non-profit organizations and agencies. The volunteer led walks are free, and everyone is invited to participate. Summer walks will feature minus tide beach walks, spawning salmon, dragon flies and bog plants, geology and wild berries as well as birds.
