Mobile mammogram van in Skagway on June 9-12
SKAGWAY, June 2, 2008 - The mobile mammogram van will visit Skagway on June 9-12.

Women wanting to schedule a mammogram should call the Dahl Memorial Clinic at the Edward A. and Jenny Rasmuson Community Health Center in Skagway, 983-2255.

All women will need to arrange to have a current clinical breast exam (done within the past six months) before they schedule their mammogram. If you have not had a current breast exam since December, you will need to arrange to have one before you schedule your mammogram. If you are also due for your women's health exam, including your Pap test, please let the clinic know so sufficient time is scheduled for you to have this done.

Women with a limited income may be eligible to receive these services for free. To find out if you qualify, please contact the Dahl Memorial Clinic.

The mobile mammogram van is sponsored by Bartlett Regional Hospital and the SEARHC Breast and Cervical Health Program.
