PUBLISHED: 6:01 PM on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 Northwest softwood log exports increase PORTLAND, Ore. - A total of 200 million board feet of softwood logs were exported from Washington, Oregon, Northern California and Alaska in the first three months of 2008. The volume was up two percent from 196 million board feet in the first quarter of 2007, according to the Pacific Northwest Research Station, U.S. Forest Service.
