Besides their LEED certified home design, they built three other 'green' homes last year. By building these four homes 'green,' Bicknell Inc. has reduced greenhouse emissions by 80,000 to 100,000 pounds per year for the life of the home.
Additionally, their 'green' homes use low volatile organic compound products, whole house ventilation systems, products that have longer life, more efficient lighting, energy star appliances, better windows and construction practices that increase the durability of their buildings.
