Celebration 2008 held this weekend, June 5-7
JUNEAU - Celebration, the largest event held in Alaska's capital, will be held June 5-7. Celebration, with its Native dance performances, Native Artist Market and other educational activities, expects between 3,000 - 5,000 attendees.

The event honors Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian culture. The Juneau Convention & Visitors Bureau, Downtown Business Association, and the Juneau Chamber of Commerce encourage local support during Celebration 2008. Sealaska Corporation and Sealaska Heritage Institute selected Juneau as the host community.
