'Ready 2 Vote' Registration Drive

The Juneau School District and League of Women Voters Juneau are encouraging 18 year olds to register to vote over the next two weeks. The goal is to register at least 50 more 18-year-old Juneau voters before the end of the school year.

Registrars from the League of Women Voters will be available for student voter registration in the Juneau-Douglas High School Commons during lunch Tuesday through Friday, May 26-29. They will also be registering students before and after the Baccalaureate Service on Sunday, May 31 at 7pm at the JDHS Auditorium, and at the senior breakfast at JDHS.

Students must bring their student ID card, a driver's license or some other form of picture ID in order to register.
