Juneau Monthly Grind

The showcase of local talent is Friday, May 26. It's the last chance until September to perform a five-minute solo or group skit, song, poem or variety act. The Grind is held at the VFW Hall, behind the Baranof Hotel, with the all ages Family Grind at 7 p.m. and the anything goes, over 21, Bump-n-Grind at 10 p.m. Admission is $5 or free when bringing a dessert to share. Haida Descendant Dancers

perform at Totem Bight on every second Friday of the month through September. The next performance will be Friday, June 9th at 6:30. Come see the Haida Descendant Dancers dance in traditional regalia while singing songs, telling stories, and drumming. Performances begin at 6:30 in the Totem Bight Clan House. Sara Hickman performs

The singer/songwriter/producer performs in Ketchikan, June 30th at the Kayhi auditorium. Sara Hickman is an award winning singer/songwriter with a wide range of guitar and vocal music. 'Much Ado About Nothing'

Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing on June 23rd, 24th, 30th and July 1st at Point Higgins Elementary School in Ketchikan will take you back to a Shakespeare Summer with a festival feel. Rain or shine, this production will go on.
