The Juneau Urban Forestry Partnership will be hosting its annual Arbor Day celebration on May 30, noon, at the entrance to Cope Park on Calhoun Ave. As part of the celebration, JUFP will plant nine trees and dozens of shrubs and perennials to enhance the entrance to the park. Current members of JUFP can pick up their free 18-inch tall red oak at the event. For more information call: 789-4528.

Juneau Arts & Humanities Council holds the annual review of grant requests for CBJ arts funding on May 27 at 5 pm in the Juneau Arts & Culture Center. Interested members of the public are invited.

Hydaburg Cooperative Association's Annual Culture Camp will be held July 21-25 with the Haida Festival Day on July 26. There will be classes in drum making, wall hanging/blanket making, song and dance, cedar basket weaving, and more.
