JUNEAU - The annual Super Plant Sale, held each year on the day before Mother's Day, will be extended due to the rain-induced low turnout. The second day of this year's plant sale is 1-3 p.m. Sunday, May 20. The sale will be hosted at the Juneau Community Garden off of Montana Creek Road, and features vegetable starters, herbs, flowers, trees and shrubs sold by multiple local nonprofits. Commercial businesses are also included in the sale, providing items such as topsoil and fruit trees from Ed Buyarski's Ed's Edible Landscaping.
