Southeast features 100 GED grads

JUNEAU - More than 100 Southeast residents earned their General Education Degree this past year.

The Learning Connection will celebrate success at its GED Graduation Ceremony at 6 p.m. on May 18 at the Elizabeth Peratrovich Hall (formerly ANB Hall).

Join TLC staff, recent GED graduates, English as a Second Language & Citizenship students, their families, and community members as TLC celebrates success at this year's graduation ceremony. This event is free and open to the public.

The commencement speaker will be University of Alaska Southeast Chancellor John Pugh.

During the ceremony, recent GED graduates will be awarded scholarships to the University of Alaska and Central Council Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes' Vocational Training & Resource Center.
