Ray Troll's 'Sharkabet' moves in at state museum
Visitors to the Alaska State Museum will pass through the jaws of a giant shark to view Ketchikan artist Ray Troll's exhibition Sharkabet: A Sea of Sharks from A to Z, based on his children's book. The Sunday, May 15 opening coincides with Juneau Museum Day, when area museums are open free from noon to five and feature a host of special activities. Troll will be at the state museum until 4 p.m. to talk about the exhibit and sign copies of his book, which is available at the museum gift shop.
