Woosh Kinaadeiyí will partner with the Juneau Fine Arts Camp this year, offering spoken word workshops for 4th through 6th graders.
The workshops will be taught over four weeks by spoken word artists Christy NaMee Eriksen, Kate Laster, Jacque Boucher, Bill Merk, and Mike Christenson. Students will learn creative writing and performance, with an emphasis on individual identity, voice, and community building.
The Juneau Fine Arts Camp is now accepting registrations. The camp will run June 3-28, 2013 at Juneau Douglas High School. Sign up for the whole month, or just a week or two. For more information, visit www.juneaudance.org.
