Volunteers assist with Auke Lake Trail project

UAS Chancellor John Pugh trims brush Saturday with volunteers on the first day's construction on the new Auke Lake Trail at the university. A crew of volunteers from Juneau Rotary clubs and Trail Mix began widening the trail and removing old decking Saturday. Work will continue through the summer on the $1.3 million project which will eventually connect the trail entirely around Auke Lake.
