JUNEAU - Capital City Fire and Rescue is taking applications for its scholarship program for the academic year starting in fall 2012. The Capital City Fire and Rescue awards 12 scholarships each semester to Alaska residents planning to attend the University of Alaska Southeast.

JUNEAU - Capital City Fire and Rescue is taking applications for its scholarship program for the academic year starting in fall 2012. The Capital City Fire and Rescue awards 12 scholarships each semester to Alaska residents planning to attend the University of Alaska Southeast.
Scholarship participants are required to be live-in firefighters with Capital City Fire and Rescue. The scholarships are renewable for the spring semester provided recipients are fulfilling requirements of the program.
Applications are available at www.juneau.org, and must be postmarked by May 11.
