'Five Women Wearing the Same Dress'

First City Players in Ketchikan presents this show at the new black box theater space in the plaza. Author Alan Ball ("American Beauty") has created a masterful and hilarious comedy about five bridesmaids hiding out from a snooty Knoxville wedding reception. Ball in the House

Torch Nights Performing Art Series presents Ball in the House, an a cappella guys group with amazing and exciting sounds. They will be combining lush harmonies and innovative styles on Friday, April 20 at 7:30pm on the Kayhi Auditorium stage, with a special performance by the Kayhi Jazz and Concert Choirs. The Family Grind

Juneau's second annual folkless grind will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, April 20, at the VFW Hall. cost is $5 or free if you bring a dessert to share.

The Who's 'Tommy'

Showing at Perseverance Theatre through April 22, the music of The Who comes to life in the story of a young boy's transformation into a pinball champion. Company member Rory Merritt Stitt and the band from Perseverance's productions of "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" and "Hair" rock out in Pete Townshend's stage version of this opera. KTB's Spring Gala

Ketchikan Theatre Ballet once again presents all of their dancers on the Kayhi Auditorium stage. The youngest dancers will perform on Saturday afternoon, while the older dancers present on Friday and Saturday evenings. Shows will be on Friday and Saturday, May 11 and 12, 2007.
