Alaska looks to go Hollywood
JUNEAU - The House Finance Committee passed Senate Bill 230 on Monday to attract the film industry to Alaska. The bill, sponsored by Senate Majority Leader Johnny Ellis (D-Anchorage), would offer tax breaks to production companies in hopes of attracting more members of the film industry to shoot Alaska-themed movies in-state.
