Airport wants portion of cruise ship tax
JUNEAU - The Juneau International Airport requested last week that it receive $312,000 from the Cruise Ship Passenger Fees reserve, reported the Juneau Empire.
Airport Manager Dave Palmer was quoted as saying the airport had been left off the beneficiary list since 2000, when the ordinance was adopted.
City Manger Rod Swope said the request would need more consideration.
