Ketchikan Harley Riders were among the over 400 people who came together in Ketchikan last month at a spaghetti feed to support and raise money to help Dana Barr, an uninsured single parent of two energetic boys who was recently diagnosed with cancer. People attending were friends, coworkers, church members, and friends of the boys. Friends of Barr's said her own positive attitude about her illness, and the way she has "touched people's lives in very ordinary ways in several aspects of the community" explained why so many people turned out to help. Plus, they added, "Ketchikan folks have huge hearts that constantly open up and contribute in times like these."
