Teens assemble Diversity Quilt

National Youth Service Day will be coming to the Juneau-Douglas City Museum Friday April15, 10am-2pm, when 12 local teenagers grades 7-12 will help construct the Diversity Quilt that began during Diversity Week. Six-inch squares decorated by Juneau youth with images symbolizing what makes them different, special and unique will be put together, representing not only the diversity of the children in Juneau, but how differences put together can create something beautiful.
