Photo: Juneau teens 'Kick Butts'
In recognition of national Kick Butts Day on April 12, the Juneau chapter of Teens Against Tobacco Use (TATU), sponsored a Memorial Wall for those who have died from tobacco use. Names and photographs were submitted for placement on the wall to remember those who suffered tobacco-related deaths. "This is the first year this memorial display has taken place," said Jackie Wagner, TATU coordinator. World wide, nearly 5 million people die each year from tobacco use, according to Wendy Hamilton, tobacco program coordinator for Juneau.
