JUNEAU - EmbroidMe, the world's largest embroidery franchise, has opened a new store in Juneau. The store is owned by Juneau residents Mike and Kari Lindsey and is located at 5381 Commercial Blvd.
Before becoming Embroidme franchisees, Mike worked in customer service at Tyler rental and owned and operated Downtown Union 76 for 15 years. Kari worked for the State of Alaska. The Lindseys have run a screen printing business from their home since 2001.
"Discovering EmbroidMe came at a perfect time in our lives because it was time for us to return to owning our own business again, and EmbroidMe has an excellent reputation and growth potential," said Mike Lindsey in a press release.
With more than 450 retail locations worldwide, EmbroidMe provides full-service custom embroidery and screen-printing for apparel, as well as promotional products and gifts to both the private and commercial segments of the business community.
