Bruce Coville to visit Juneau library

JUNEAU - Well-known children's author Bruce Coville will be at the downtown Juneau library on April 4 at 7 p.m. He will also visit several Juneau schools on April 6 and be at the Ketchikan library on April 8 at 6:30 p.m.

In 1995, Coville combined his storytelling abilities and love of theatre in a unique venture, "Words take Wing" audio recordings. This new company was the first to offer unabridged, full-cast recordings of popular novels such as "Redwall" and "The Golden Compass." Coville later launched Full Cast Recordings, which proceeded to win awards with audiences and authors alike. At the same time, Coville continued to write and added several new series, such as "The Unicorn Chronicles," and stand-alone books to the lists of his books that kids love. Several of his books have made it on the Battle of the Books lists, such as "Jeremy Thatcher."

The Juneau event is sponsored by the Friends of the Libraries. For more information, call Carol at 209-9297. Learn more about Coville at www.brucecoville.com
