Macaulay joins other vets for ski clinic
Susan Macaulay of Juneau is one of three Alaska veterans who will ski the Rocky Mountains at the 19th National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic in Snowmass Village, Colo., April 3-8. Macaulay, 39, together with Don Peters, 36, Anchorage; and Tyler Hall, 24, Wasilla. will join nearly 400 other disabled veterans from across the country, including more than 60 from Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. Hall, an amputee, is one of those veterans. Participants will have the opportunity to learn adaptive Alpine and Nordic skiing.
