JUNEAU - A community mental health forum will be hosted by various behavioral health providers from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31 at Centennial Hall. The forum will address the mental health needs of Juneau and surrounding areas and will present various community services available to those in need.
The event is free and open to the public. Light snacks and child care will be provided.
Issues such as depression, schizophrenia, substance abuse, bi-polar disorder and other mental health issues will be presented with opportunities for questions and answers as well.
Those who might be suffering from mental health issues, or have loved ones who are, are encouraged to come to learn more about how those issues can be helped, as well as about the services that are available in Juneau.
