Governor appoints 14 to boards and commissions
(Juneau) - Governor Frank H. Murkowski appointed 14 Alaskans to eight separate boards and commissions last week.

Some of the Southeast Alaskans appointed to different boards were:

Colleen Scanlon, of Ketchikan, and Aaron Isaacs, of Klawock, were both re-appointed to the Alaska Labor Regulations Agency. Isaacs and Scanlon will serve three-year terms, both expiring March 1, 2008.

Mark Morris, of Juneau, was appointed to the seat for an electrical engineer on the Alaska State Board of Registration for Architects, Engineers and Land Surveyors. His appointment expire son March 1, 2009.
