Making their own way

Name: Janice Lobaugh, Realtor?, ABR

Business Name: Coldwell Banker Race Realty

How long have you been in business?

I obtained my Real Estate License January 18, 2000.

What is your business?

Assisting the public with knowledge, information and the purchase or sale of Real Estate in all Southeast Alaska.

Why did you go into business?

In 1995, I was asked to be a live in manager and property manage a 4-plex for my ex-father-in-law and obtained knowledge and experience from reading the Statutes, Regulations and becoming familiar with the Alaska Landlord Tenant Act. Once the 4-Plex was up to code and all upgrades completed, I went to work for the State of Alaska. While working for the State, I felt that I was not using my full potential. I enjoy getting to know my clients and assisting people in obtaining their goals in life as I have an abundance of energy and organization that I offer to every transaction. I also feel that everyone needs a place to call "Home" whether it be a mobile home or beach front property. Everyone needs encouragement with an understanding, caring and compassionate ear. I must also publicly "Thank" my broker Mike Race and Partner Donald Schultz. Associate Broker for all the education, guidance, seeing my ability and for most of all, believing in me.
