Bazinet joins Army National Guard
Buck Bazinet of Craig has enlisted in the Alaska Army National Guard as an Infantryman. PVT Bazinet is currently a Junior at Craig High School. He enlisted under the "Split Option" program, since he is a Junior in High School. This is a program that allows Juniors to enlist in the National Guard and attend 10 weeks of Basic Training during the summer between their Junior and Senior year and then complete Advance Training after their Senior year. PVT Bazinet will attend his Basic and Advance Training at Ft. Benning, Georgia. After he completes his training he will return to Craig and drill 39 days a year.
