Diabetes group features speaker
The Juneau Diabetes Support Group will host guest speaker Anne Whitis from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, at the SEARHC-WIC Classroom (first floor of SEARHC Dental Building) as part of its "Learning to Live Healthy With Diabetes" series.

Whitis is a physical therapist for the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) Juneau Medical Center. Her talk is titled "Diabetes and Physical Fitness." She will discuss benefits ("What's in it for me?"), excuses ("But, I'm already so busy") and getting started ("There's a reasonable program for me?").
