Juneau - Sherry Tamone will present a Fireside Lecture on Friday, Feb. 27, at 6:30 and 8 p.m. at the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center called "Giant Pacific Octopus: The Elusive Cephalopod." Tamone and her colleagues at the University of Alaska have marked and recaptured giant Pacific octopus in Kachemak Bay.
