JUNEAU - The newly revised edition "Dog Driver: A Guide for the Serious Musher" includes the latest information on equipment and training for dog mushers of all levels of experience. The book, by Miki and Julie Collins, is based on interviews with experts and more than three decades of personal experience. The Collins sisters have spent their lives with sled dogs, using them to haul freight, run traplines and trek into the wilderness. The Collins' write regularly for the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner, Mushing and other publications, and are the authors of three books.
