Navy League says goodbye to Lt. Kyle Taylor

The members of the Juneau Navy League held a reception this past Monday for Lt. Kyle Taylor, USNR (center). Friends and Department of Labor co-workers gathered at the Buoy Deck to wish Kyle well. Taylor, the Veterans Program Coordinator in the Employment Security Division leaves next week for San Diego. Lt. Taylor will eventually be deployed to Kuwait where he will run a coastal Intel unit. The Navy League is an organization that supports sea services, including the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Merchant Marines. New members are welcome. Current League projects include gathering books, DVD's and videos for the USS Juneau which was forward deployed in Japan as part of the Navy's amphibious warfare units, and will now be supporting operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.
