Help shape future of senior services
The Juneau Commission on Aging and the Alaska Commission on Aging are inviting anybody interested in senior issues to the Juneau Forum of the 2005 ACOA White House Conference on Aging, Friday, Feb. 25, 1-4 p.m. at the Juneau Senior Center.

Topics to be discussed include Social Security, jobs for older workers, caregiver needs, preventative health, housing for seniors, lifelong learning opportunities, retirement savings, services for seniors,, finding service workers, long-term care, and community involvement.

The White House Conference on Aging is held about every ten years to develop recommendations for national policy on aging issues for the coming decade. Alaska's recommendations will be developed based on input received from community events across the state and submitted to the national conference, scheduled for October.
